Prince Harry finally speaks out on King Charles: ‘I would love reconciliation’
Prince Harry has made it clear that he wants to reconcile with his father King Charles.
Speaking with BBC News, the Duke of Sussex, who just lost his security battle in the UK, said, “I would love reconciliation with my family” while he admitting that King Charles “won’t speak to me because of this security stuff.”
As King Charles is currently battling cancer, Harry admits that he doesn’t want “to fight” anymore adding that “I don’t know how much longer my father has.”
Harry admitted that he was “devastated” after losing his legal appeal over police protection in the UK.
He stated that he can’t imagine bringing his wife, Meghan Markle, and their children, Prince Archie, and Princess Lilibet to the UK, due to lack of protection.
“I can’t see a world in which I would bring my wife and children back to the UK at this point,” the Duke of Sussex said.
For those unaware, Prince Harry’s legal battle was against the UK government following the removal of his security in 2020, when he and Meghan Markle stepped down as working royals.
Despite arguring that his life is “at stake,” the court ruled that the committee’s decision was reasonable.
