From Classic to Crazy, Here Are the Latest Kit Unveilings From Europe’s Top Soccer Leagues – SportsLogos.Net News

With the 2025 FIFA Club World Cup and continental championship tournaments winding down and preseason tours about to begin, it’s been another busy week for kit unveilings across Europe’s top domestic soccer leagues. Here are the latest kits to be rolled out in England, Germany, Italy, France and Spain since we last checked in:
WEST HAM UNITED – Home
While English Premier League side West Ham United have famously used claret and light blue on their home kits for decades, the 2025-26 version, made by Umbro, certainly emphasizes one colour over the over. The full body of the kit is solid claret, including the sleeves, with the only light blue accents appearing on the V-neck collar, sleeve cuffs and tapered underarm panels, as well as crossed hammers on the back collar. The club says on its website it was aiming for a “clean, minimalist aesthetic” with the new kits.

LEEDS UNITED – Home
Back in the Premier League, Leeds United celebrate a matchday ritual for fans with their 2025-26 home kit, made by adidas. The pattern of blue, yellow and white rectangles on the collar and sleeve cuffs of the jersey mimics the tiles inside the Lowfields Tunnel in Leeds, which is a route generations of supporters have taken to reach Elland Road. The base of the kit is Leeds’ traditional solid white, with blue adidas shoulder stripes.

BRENTFORD FC – Home
Premier League side Brentford are marking their 100th year in red and white stripes in 2025-26 with their first kit in partnership with Spanish brand Joma. Red and white stripes adorn the front of the shirt, with contrasting pinstripes bordering each large stripe. The shoulders and sleeves are solid white, and the collar and sleeve cuffs have red and white striping. The back has a solid red panel for name and number legibility. The front of the collar has a black Y shape crossed by white bands, which is inspired by the original lace-up collar Brentford wore in 1925.

SUNDERLAND AFC – Away
After dipping as far down as League One, Sunderland AFC is back in the Premier League for the first time since 2016-17, and are marking the occasion with an away kit made by Hummel that pays tribute to the city’s “proud maritime identity.” The blue base of the kit features a bespoke pattern on the front “inspired by the view of the Roker Beach lighthouse through the ‘C’ sculpture, woven into the fabric to reflect the city’s deep connection to the sea.” The collar is white with red trim, and the badge Sunderland used from 1977 to 1991 sits on the left chest.

BURNLEY FC – Home
Like West Ham, traditionally claret-and-blue Premier League club Burnley are cranking up the claret with their 2025-26 home kit, made by Castore. The front and sleeves of the claret kit feature a print inspired by “the rugged landscape that surrounds Burnley” with topographic contour lines of surrounding hills. The crew neck collar and sleeve cuffs are light blue with white trim.

🇩🇪 VfB STUTTGART – Home
German Bundesliga side VfB Stuttgart put a new spin on their traditional home kit with the 2025-26 version made by Jako. The details on the edges of the red band around the chest of the white shirt, along with the embossed pattern on the shirt, pay tribute to the Stuttgarter Stäffele (Steps of Stuttgart), “thus symbolizing the bond between the Cannstatt club and its home city.” The V-neck collar and sleeve cuffs are white.

🇩🇪 HAMBURGER SV – Home
Back in the Bundesliga for the first time since 2017-18, Hamburger SV are going all out with their 2025-26 home kit, made by adidas. The shirt is predominantly white, but has black and blue diamonds arching over the chest and blue raglan sleeves with black adidas shoulder stripes. “Taking its cue from the 1994/95 kit, this shirt is more than just a stylish throwback – it’s a reminder of the club’s proud past and a symbol of looking forward to the future,” the club says.

🇩🇪 1. FC KÖLN – Home
Claiming it’s “not just for home games,” Bundesliga side 1. FC Köln and Hummel have set out to create “a statement for everyday wear” with the club’s 2025-26 home kit. The shirt features red and white vertical stripes on the front, along with white raglan sleeves and a solid white panel on the back for names and numbers. Red Hummel chevrons run down the sides. The collar is red with a white stripe through the middle and a white triangular insert at the front.

🇩🇪 1. FSV MAINZ 05 – Home
Bundesliga side 1. FSV Mainz 05 is wearing their home city on their chest and in their heart with their 2025-26 home kit, made by Jako. The front of the red kit features an embossed map of the city of Mainz, while the raglan sleeves have a red-and-white geometric pattern. The V-neck collar and sleeve cuffs are half red and half white, while Jako circles on the shoulders are gold.

🇩🇪 TSG 1899 HOFFENHEIM – Home
Like their Bundesliga counterparts 1. FC Köln, TSG 1899 Hoffenheim are aiming for universal appeal with their 2025-26 home kit, made by Joma. The navy blue base of the jersey features an embossed wave pattern that is “a tribute to the sea of flags waving in the south stand of the arena” and has the contouts of the club crest incorporated into the design. It’s accented by a bright blue front half of the crew neck collar while bright blue and white panels taper down the sides of the shirt.

🇮🇹 AS ROMA – Home
Italian Serie A side AS Roma are giving off serious ’90s vibes with their 2025-26 home kit made by adidas. The yellow piping and tapering side panels on the dark red base are reminiscent of templates used by adidas three decades ago. Despite Roma’s announcement last month that they’d be reverting to a new version of their historic club crest in time for their centennial in 2027, this kit still features the version they’ve been using since 2013.

🇮🇹 SS LAZIO – Home and Away
Meanwhile, AS Roma’s co-tenants at the Stadio Olimpico, SS Lazio, have also rolled out their new home and away kits for 2025-26, made by Mizuno. The embossed geometric pattern on their traditional light blue home kit is inspired by “the famous paving of Piazza del Campidoglio, Michelangelo Buonarroti’s masterpiece.” The off-white away kit has a different embossed pattern that the club calls “a tribute to the timeless beauty” of the same plaza along with dark blue accents on the V-neck collar and sleeve cuffs.

🇮🇹 GENOA CFC – Home
Serie A side Genoa CFC brings its crest to life with its 2025-26 home kits, made by Kappa. Every detail of the kit is “inspired by the iconic crest, which is broken down to be redistributed and thus give life to a unique and evocative design.” The shirt itself is half red and half navy blue, mimicking the crest, with yellow details on the collar and sleeve cuffs to mirror the crest’s outline. The yellow griffin from the crest stands alone on the left chest, while the Cross of St. George at the top of the crest appears on the back collar.

🇮🇹 US LECCE – Home and Third
Italian Serie A side US Lecce unveiled their 2025-26 home and third kits last week, then had the perfect opportunity to show them off when they signed forward Francesco Camarda on loan from AC Milan. The kits are once again manufactured in-house by Lecce under their M908 label. The home kit is yellow with red vertical stripes fading into view at the bottom and tonal swirling pattern all over. The third kit, meanwhile, is red with narrow yellow vertical stripes. Both have black sleeve cuffs and a yellow V-neck collar with red and black trim.

🇮🇹 TORINO FC – Away
Fellow Serie A side Torino FC unveiled its 2025-26 away kit, made by Joma, last week and will wear it in their first preseason match on Saturday, July 19, against FC Ingolstadt. The white shirt features a maroon pattern on the sleeves that mimics the marble found in buildings and monuments around Turin. Maroon panels run down the sides of the jersey, and a maroon panel at the back collar features a silhouette of buildings. Small maroon vertical lines run through the middle of the front of the crew neck collar.

🇫🇷 OLYMPIQUE LYONNAIS – Home
French Ligue 1 side Olympique Lyonnais gets back to its roots with its 2025-26 home kit, made by adidas, which the club says is “directly inspired by Lyon’s rich Gallo-Roman heritage.” The predominantly white kit features Lyon’s traditional blue and red vertical stripes down the centre of the front, though this year the adidas logo and the club crest are sit inside the stripes. Blue piping runs down the sides and around the collar, while the adidas shoulder stripes are red. On the back collar is the inscription “LUGDUNUM” in gold, which was the name of a Roman city in Gaul that stood where the city of Lyon is located today.

🇫🇷 OGC NICE – Home
Ligue 1’s OGC Nice blends history and tradition in their 2025-26 home kit, their first with new supplier Kappa. The shirts feature Nice’s traditional red and black vertical stripes, along with a polo collar, to “pay tribute to Le Gym’s iconic shirts of the past while adding a touch of contemporary class.” The club crest on the left chest is rendered in white within a black stripe. This is also Nice’s first season with new front-of-shirt sponsor Robinhood.

🇫🇷 LILLE OSC – Away
Fellow Ligue 1 side Lille OSC aims to combine simplicity and modernity with its 2025-26 away kit, made by New Balance. The off-white base “which draws its inspiration from the intense textile heritage of our region, like a symbol of the raw color of wool.” All the other elements of the kit, though, feature a metallic red-to-blue gradient; this includes the club crest, collar, sleeve cuffs and sponsor logos.

🇪🇸 VALENCIA CF – Home
Spanish La Liga side Valencia CF pays tribute to the club’s founding colours and Mediterranean heritage with its 2025-26 home kit, made by PUMA. The monochromatic white kit is embossed with a pattern “inspired by the trencadís technique, the mosaic characteristic of modernist architecture of the late 19th and early 20th centuries” that is used in some of Valencia’s most famous buildings. The collar and sleeve cuffs are white while sponsor logos are black, as is a bat with the same mosaic pattern on the back collar.

🇪🇸 REAL SOCIEDAD – Home and Away
To mark the 1,000th anninversary of their home province, Gipuzkoa, first being mentioned in a written document, La Liga side Real Sociedad take a trip across their homeland for their 2025-26 home and away kits, made by Macron. The home kit features four blue vertical stripes and three white ones — mirroring the flag in the club crest — but also includes a diagonal pattern in the blue stripes and pinstripes inside the white stripes. The away kit, meanwhile, features a marble pattern on the anthracite base, with silver panels down the sides and shoulders and the club crest in the middle of the chest.

🇪🇸 GETAFE CF – Home, Away and Third
Elsewhere in La Liga, Getafe CF has once again decided not to draw things out and unveiled all three of their kits for 2025-26, made by Joma, in one go. All three feature similar motifs, with vertical stripes woven into the fabric, along with two colourful stripes up the right side of the jersey and matching trim on the sleeve cuffs and collar. The home kit is blue with red and yellow stripes, while the away kit has a red base and the third kit features a yellow base.

🇪🇸 GIRONA FC – Home
After getting playful with their home kits over the past couple of seasons, La Liga side Girona FC are back to their traditional red and white stripes with their 2025-26 home kit, made by PUMA. The front of the white shirt features six narrow red stripes, each of which is flanked by red pinstripes. “This shirt represents the spirit of those who never give up, who continue to support the team every day,” the club says. The polo collar is red, as are the sleeve cuffs. The back collar features an emblem blending a stylized G with the Catalan flag.

🇪🇸 RCD ESPANYOL – Home
La Liga side RCD Espnayol’s 2025-26 home kit, made by Kelme, is a throwback to the one of the club’s “most iconic and beloved strips,” which they wore between 1984 and 1992 and enjoyed successes like finishing third in the league in 1986-87 and making it to the final of the UEFA Cup in 1988. The 2025-26 kit combines broad blue and white vertical stripes down the front with a blue-trimmed polo collar and narrow blue stripes down the shoulders, between which Kelme’s paw print logo repeats. A pattern of vertical lines is woven into the fabric of the shirt, and a blue panel on the back allows for name and number legibility.

🇪🇸 DEPORTIVO ALAVÉS – Home and Away
Back for its 20th season in La Liga overall, Deportivo Alavés puts its home province and its history front and centre in its 2025-26 home and away kits, respectively. Made by PUMA, the home kit retains Alavés’s traditional blue and white vertical stripes, but adds a twist with two-toned blue stripes. On the left chest surrounding the club crest is a tonal outline of Álava, the province of Spain the club calls home. The away kit, meanwhile, is mostly white, with three stripes ranging from black to blue coming down from the shoulders to the chest. Inside the lowest blue stripe are the lyrics to the Deportive Alavés anthem, which was composed by Alfredo Donnay in 1956.

🇪🇸 VILLARREAL CF – Third
La Liga side Villarreal CF are in uncharted waters with their 2025-26 third kit, made by Joma. The base of the kit is a shade of dark blue with grey tones, which the club says “is inspired by the Mediterranean Sea and the breathtaking landscape of the Columbretes Islands, a true maritime jewel of our region.” Sponsor logos and the club crest are printed in the same shade of dark blue, making them almost indiscernible if not for their glossy finish. To make the waters even muddier, Villarreal is allowing fans to vote on their website on whether names and numbers on the back should be printed in white or in blue (though the blue option may not be allowed under La Liga or UEFA rules).
