With the 2025 CONCACAF Gold Cup and the 2026 FIFA World Cup on the horizon, Mexico’s national teams are ready to shine in new third kits manufactured by Adidas.

The Federación Mexicana de Fútbol unveiled the new kits on their website and social media channels on Thursday, March 13. Dubbed the “México de Oro” kit, the jersey celebrates the country’s “rich cultural heritage through art and music” and is inspired by the “golden age of Mexican cinema and regional Mexican music.”

The black base of the jersey features a tonal pattern inspired by traditional mariachi outfits and is complemented by gold details, including the Adidas shoulder stripes. The same pattern is also woven into the gold sleeve cuffs. The combination of black and gold is meant to evoke “the strength, history, and grandeur of Mexican soccer,” according to an FMF press release.

A gold deconstructed national team crest sits in the centre of the chest, below a retro Adidas trefoil logo. “MÉXICO DE ORO” is printed inside the collar. Photos accompanying the unveiling showed the shirt paired with black shorts with gold accents and black socks with the same pattern found on the sleeve cuffs around the top.

The kits will make their on-field debut at SoFi Stadium in Los Angeles on Thursday, March 20, when the Mexican men’s national team takes on Canada in the semifinals of the CONCACAF Nations League.
