RAWALPINDI: Multan Sultans won the toss and elected to bat first against Quetta Gladiators in 28th Pakistan Super League (PSL) X match at the Rawalpindi Cricket Stadium.

Multan Sultans and Quetta Gladiators are facing each other for the 15th time in PSL history on Sunday (today). In earlier encounters, Sultans have won nine times and Gladiators five times.

In this PSL season, the Multan Sultans have had a difficult time. With just one victory this season, Mohammad Rizwan’s team is currently on a five-game losing run.

On the other hand, Quetta Gladiators, captained by Saud Shakeel, are in outstanding form and have already earned a spot in the playoffs. They are hoping to end their league-stage campaign on a strong note after winning four straight games with one game being wash out in between.

The league resumed on Saturday, after a brief hiatus due to cross border tensions, with players and match officials honouring the armed forces in a show of solidarity at a ceremony attended by Chief of Army Staff (COAS) General Syed Asim Munir, Inter-Services Public Relations (ISPR) Director General Lieutenant General Ahmed Sharif Chaudhry and Pakistan Cricket Board (PCB) Chairman Mohsin Naqvi.
