
Prince William calls Sir David Attenborough inspiration for his children

Prince William has called David Attenborough an inspiration for him and his children Prince George, Princess Charlotte and Prince Louis.
The Prince of Wales, who shared three kids with Kate Middleton, paid a heartfelt tribute to David ahead of his 99th birthday on May 8, 2025, as reported by The Mail.
William told the outlet, “May we all raise a glass to a true giant – and continue the mission he has led with such grace and urgency.”
“We celebrate not just a milestone of years, but a lifetime of extraordinary service to our planet. Through his boundless curiosity, gentle wisdom and unwavering commitment… he has brought the wonders of Earth into our homes and into our hearts,” the future King added further of David.
He continued, “His voice has become a guiding light in our understanding of nature, and his message – that we must cherish and protect our planet – has never been more vital.”
“He has inspired my children and me in so many ways,” the Prince of Wales concluded.
It is worth mentioning that it comes as Sir David Attenborough is set to release his new documentary, Ocean on his birthday.
In the documentary, David, who has been closely involved in Prince William’s Earthshot Prize and also has worked with King Charles, reflects on what he has learnt after all these years of studying Earth.
