For quite some time, there has been a rumour that Tom Hardy has had a hair transplant.

This gossip was fuelled by the seemingly vanishing of his previous visible receding hairline.

But the actor has not addressed the matter until now. In a chat with Hits Radio UK’s Will Best, he said, “You’ve got your own hair and everything,” adding, “I’ve got someone else’s.”

Despite the unclear remarks, this is still the first time Tom has opened up about the rumour.

In other news, the Dark Knight Rises star commented on the Academy’s recent decision to introduce an award for stunt performers.

In his opinion, though, it’s not enough. Tom explained his stance, “One Oscar, it’s a bit too little too late in some aspects. It’s good, it’s great and cup half full territory, but I think perhaps more is asked for.”

The category is Stunt Design, but the star told IGN“It’s not enough just stunt design because there are so many elements that go into stunts as a department.”

“That entire universe of people is unsung, and they put a lot on the line for that physically, and they’re largely unspoken, but they do really put the thrill into film and TV. I’ve got a lot of friends in that world, so yeah, I’d like to see some subcategories in there as well,” Tom concluded.
