Whether you want to follow these itineraries exactly or just find some inspiration on how you can redeem your Chase points, here are four noteworthy vacations you can book.

Book a trip to London and Egypt using Chase points

Do you dream of strolling the streets of London and visiting the must-see tourist monuments, such as Big Ben and Buckingham Palace? Or, do you want to “cheers” with your best mate at a local pub and have a proper English Sunday roast? Is seeing the Egyptian pyramids on your bucket list?

If you’re up for an adventure this October, you can redeem 100,000 Chase points to fly round-trip with a travel companion to London and Cairo for a noteworthy two-continent getaway. Here is your points itinerary, planned by Katie Genter, a lead writer at TPG:

• Transfer 21,000 Chase points (10,500 points per person) to Virgin Atlantic Flying Club (and pay an additional $215 in taxes and fees) to book two premium economy flights from New York City’s John F. Kennedy International Airport (JFK) to London’s Heathrow Airport (LHR).
• Spend three nights in London using either cash or other points and miles.
• Transfer 13,000 Chase points to British Airways Club to fly economy from LHR to Cairo International Airport (CAI); this flight costs 12,500 Avios plus $152 in taxes and fees for two people.
• Transfer 32,000 Chase points to World of Hyatt to stay at the Hyatt Regency Cairo West for four nights. This hotel costs 8,000 points per night and offers plush rooms and views of the Giza pyramids. You can spend an additional 5,000 points per night to confirm a standard suite (if available) or use a suite upgrade award.

A quick tip: Hyatt does not charge resort fees, destination fees or other taxes and surcharges on award redemptions.

• Transfer 12,000 Chase points to British Airways Club to fly economy from CAI to LHR; this flight costs 12,500 Avios plus $152 in taxes and fees for two people. (Note that you should still have 500 Avios left over from your previous British Airways transfer.)
• Transfer 21,000 Chase points to Virgin Atlantic Flying Club to fly premium economy from LHR to JFK. This flight will cost 742 British pounds (about $984) for two people. While the taxes and additional surcharge fees are high, flying transatlantic premium economy is a great deal.

Total savings: If you paid cash for the round-trip flights plus a four-night stay at the Hyatt Regency in Cairo, it would cost you over $6,000 for two people.

October is one of the best months to visit Cairo and the Giza pyramids since you’ll get decent weather and modest crowds during the shoulder season.

I frequently travel with my husband and increasingly find myself enjoying the extra space premium economy seats provide on long-haul flights. I decided on a trip for two to Cairo via London with premium economy seats on the transatlantic legs and economy seats on the shorter legs to and from Egypt (after all, business class on these flights would provide the same pitch and a blocked middle).

Book an all-inclusive 4-night trip to Mexico using Chase points

Take the guesswork — and added expenses — out of planning your next vacation. With 100,000 Chase points, you could book a four-night stay for two in May at an all-inclusive property in Mexico that includes flights for just the taxes and fees.

So, if you’re ready to sip pina coladas in the Quintana Roo area of Mexico, here’s how to book a beach vacation for two. Check out this points itinerary, planned by Ben Smithson, a senior writer at TPG:

• Transfer 20,000 Chase points (10,000 points per person) to JetBlue TrueBlue (and pay an additional $134.63 per person in taxes and fees) to book nonstop round-trip basic economy flights from JFK to Cancun International Airport (CUN) in Mexico.

A quick tip: Use a search tool like Seats.aero to help find the least expensive award flights. You can search across several airports, dates and programs.

• Transfer 83,000 Chase points to World of Hyatt to book a four-night stay at Dreams Sapphire Resort & Spa in Puerto Morelos (just 30 minutes from CUN). Note that though this redemption will cost you 103,000 Chase points, spending $5,000 to meet the Sapphire Preferred welcome offer with net you at least an additional 5,000 points.

Total savings: If you paid cash for two round-trip flights and booked a four-night stay at this Hyatt all-inclusive luxury property, you would pay almost $2,000 for this trip.

Why Ben recommends this trip:

While I sometimes plan my travel down to a “T,” sometimes I just want to jump on a plane and visit somewhere sunny and do absolutely nothing. JetBlue’s new Basic redemptions are an incredible value for short trips where you don’t need checked luggage, and with everything included at a luxury all-inclusive resort in Mexico, I won’t need to pack much.

Mexico is one of my favorite countries in the world for its great weather, delicious cuisine, friendly locals and, of course, margaritas. Dreams Sapphire is located right on the beach, and its amenities include infinity pools, swim-up bars and even an on-site water park for the young at heart. All I need to worry about after checking in is which of the 10 restaurants I’d like to eat at next and what my next cocktail order will be.

Book a trip to France’s Bordeaux region using Chase points

Step back in time to explore Bordeaux, France, a UNESCO World Heritage Site. Whether you choose to take part in wine tours, marvel at the city’s historic architecture or visit several museums, there is a ton of sightseeing you could be doing in Bordeaux this summer.

Here is your points itinerary, planned by Clint Henderson, TPG’s principal spokesperson, for a European vacation in July:

• Transfer 60,000 Chase points to Air France-KLM Flying Blue (and pay an additional $250 or so in taxes and fees) to fly one-way in Air France’s business class from JFK to Paris-Charles de Gaulle Airport (CDG) and then on to Bordeaux Airport (BOD) in France. Featuring lie-flat seats with closing doors, this is a luxurious way to travel across the Atlantic. Note that availability at the lowest rate is not widespread, but we did find a lot of dates this summer and into next year.

A quick tip: Call Flying Blue to add a stopover in Paris (for no additional miles) so you can explore the city.

• Transfer 40,000 Chase points (20,000 points per night) to World of Hyatt to book a two-night stay in a suite — complete with a sauna and a terrace — at FirstName Bordeaux, a JdV by Hyatt property. If you’re looking to be more frugal with your points, a regular room at this hotel during peak summer dates would be just 15,000 points per night. If you book a room at off-peak or standard rates, it would cost you 9,000 or 12,000 points per night, respectively.

Total savings: If you paid cash for the one-way business-class flight and booked a two-night suite at FirstName Bordeaux in July, you’d spend about $4,000.

Why Clint recommends this trip:

While visiting Paris is always a good idea, Bordeaux has been on my bucket list for a long time. The entire city center has been a UNESCO World Heritage Site since 2008. It has a medieval old town, gorgeous architecture and is the gateway to France’s wine country.

Book a trip to visit European Christmas markets using Chase points

‘Tis the season! Book a trip to European Christmas markets this December. If the twinkling lights don’t capture your attention, maybe the crafts, scrumptious food and gluhwein (a spiced mulled wine that is a market staple) will get you into the holiday spirit.

If a Christmas-themed getaway is on your bucket list, here is how you can spend 100,000 Chase points to travel to the heart of Europe to visit several markets during a weeklong getaway in early December. Here is your points itinerary, planned by Colin Hogan, an editor at TPG:

• Transfer 12,000 Chase points to Virgin Atlantic Flying Club (and pay an additional $178 in taxes and fees) to book a one-way economy flight on KLM from JFK to Amsterdam Airport Schiphol (AMS).
• Take ground transportation from the airport to Antwerp, Belgium, about a one-hour train ride.
• Transfer 24,000 Chase points to World of Hyatt to book a three-night stay at the Lindner Hotel Antwerp, which costs 8,000 Hyatt points per night. This hotel is walkable to Antwerpen-Centraal station, which provides easy access to various destinations like Amsterdam and Rotterdam, Netherlands; Brussels, Bruges and Ghent, Belgium; and Paris. It’s perfect if you want to take day trips to explore other major European cities.
• Take the train from Antwerp to Frankfurt, which is less than a 4 1/2-hour ride away.
• Transfer between 20,000 and 27,000 Chase points (ranging from 6,500 to 9,000 points per night) to World of Hyatt to stay at any of the following properties for three nights: Lindner Hotel Frankfurt Main Plaza (a JdV by Hyatt property), Me and All Hotel Mainz or Brunfels Hotel (part of The Unbound Collection by Hyatt).

A quick tip: Take advantage of Europe’s advanced rail system. These Hyatt properties offer access to Frankfurt’s train station; therefore, you could take a day trip to visit other popular Christmas market locations, including Strasbourg, France, and Nuremberg, Cologne and Stuttgart, Germany.

• Transfer 25,000 Chase points to Flying Blue (and pay an additional $276 in taxes, fees and surcharges) to book a one-way economy flight on Air France or KLM from Frankfurt Airport (FRA) to JFK. Note that you could still have Chase points left over after this redemption, meaning you could book a fourth night at one of your home base hotels.

Total savings: If you paid cash for one round-trip economy flight and booked three nights in Antwerp and three nights in Frankfurt, you’d spend about $2,500.
