Get Apple TV+ and Apple Music with your Sapphire Reserve
One of the sneakiest expenses these days is streaming subscriptions. If you’re like me, you find a reason to need almost every one — and it really adds up.
So one of my favorite credit card perks is credits toward streaming subscriptions. Currently, I have my Disney+ bundle mostly covered by my Blue Cash Preferred® Card from American Express $7 monthly Disney Bundle statement credit (enrollment required; subject to auto-renewal), and I get some other streaming credits thanks to my U.S. Bank Altitude® Go Visa Signature® Card.
When I saw that Apple TV+ and Apple Music are part of the Chase Sapphire Reserve® (see rates and fees) refresh, I was thrilled to knock off two more subscriptions from my monthly budget.

How to get Apple TV+ and Apple Music with your Sapphire Reserve
Instead of credits, Sapphire Reserve cardholders receive complimentary memberships to both Apple TV+ and Apple Music — meaning you don’t have to subscribe and wait for a credit to post.
Simply activate your complimentary Apple TV+ and Apple Music memberships in your card benefits hub.
This benefit will be available instantly for new Sapphire Reserve applicants and in October for existing Sapphire Reserve cardholders.

Is the Sapphire Reserve Apple TV+ and Apple Music worth it?
Currently, an Apple TV+ subscription costs $9.99 per month, and an Apple Music subscription costs $10.99 per month. Annually, the value of both of these memberships is $251.76.
If you’re already paying for both memberships (or are willing to cut other subscriptions in favor of these), the annual savings are almost enough to justify the card’s increased annual fee ($795, up from $550).
Still, a credit card benefit only saves you money if it’s something you were going to buy anyway. If you aren’t currently subscribed to either membership, this is a nice perk to have — but it isn’t necessarily putting money back in your pocket.

Bottom line
The Sapphire Reserve now includes a complimentary membership to Apple TV+ and Apple Music, which cardholders can activate in their card benefits hub. These are worth more than $250 annually — which goes a long way toward offsetting the card’s increased annual fee.
