Yes, this is the best welcome bonus offer we have ever seen for the Chase Sapphire Reserve. The bonus offers $500 more in value than the launch offer we saw in 2016 and is much higher than any welcome bonus we’ve seen for the card in the years since then.
These updates come at a cost: The Chase Sapphire Reserve now sports a higher annual fee of $795, making it one of the most expensive credit cards on the market. Still, if you can maximize all the credits that come with the card, you’ll come out ahead of that fee.
