Nonstop Hawaii flights from 26 US mainland cities

There’s a lot to love about vacationing in Hawaiibut many travelers don’t like the hours of flying it takes to reach the state from the continental U.S.

I don’t mind connecting flights, especially if a connection lets me stretch my legs and enjoy an airport lounge. But, regardless of whether you want to fly nonstop or prefer to connect, here’s a look at all the nonstop routes airlines fly between Hawaii and the U.S. mainland.

Airlines that fly to Hawaii

You may need to connect when flying to Hawaii, but not always. Here are the airlines that operate nonstop flights from at least one mainland city to at least one Hawaiian airport:

Bottom line

Last time I visited Hawaii, I flew from New York City to Kona via Los Angeles on American Airlines. After a week in Kona, I redeemed Southwest points for an intra-Hawaii flight from Kona to Honolulu. Finally, I redeemed Turkish Airlines Miles&Smiles miles for a United-operated flight from Honolulu to Atlanta via Houston.

So, regardless of whether you fly nonstop or connect, consider whether you can use some of your transferable points or airline miles to get a good deal on your flights to Hawaii.
